Did you know that at any point in time, 180-200 operating vessels in the world's oceans are under Bunge's control?

Bunge plays a major role in the shipping and transporting of products to our customers all over the globe, thanks to our winning footprint and our Ocean Freight Product Line.

Being right in the middle of our value chain, our freight team oversees logistics from origin to destination, provides pricing support to the trading desks, and manages company freight risk. The team also handles third party cargoes like coal, iron ore and fertilizer, expanding our global footprint and strengthening Bunge's competitive advantage.

In 2016, we transported close to 40 million metric tons of grains and oilseeds.
