Cowboy Butter Recipe

Serve our rich Cowboy Butter, deliciously infused with bold flavors, on proteins, potatoes, or other vegetables.

Ingredients Amount
Liquid butter alternative 1 cup
Lemon juice 2-3 tbsp
Garlic, minced 2-3 cloves
Shallot, small, minced 1 ea, about 3 tbsp
Dijon mustard 2 tbsp
Horseradish, fresh grated or prepared 2 tbsp
Cayenne pepper generous pinch
Paprika 1/4 tsp
Parsley, fresh chopped 2 tsp
Chives, fresh chopped 1 tsp
Thyme, fresh chopped 2 tsp
Kosher salt 1/2 tsp
Black Pepper 1/2 tsp
Method of preparation:
  1. Combine 1 tablespoon of LBA in saucepan with garlic and shallot. Sauté about 2 minutes until softened and slightly golden.
  2. Add lemon juice and reduce by half.
  3. Add all other ingredients and whisk/stir to combine and heat slightly.
  4. Use sauce to dip steak or chicken, toss with roasted potatoes or spoon over asparagus. You can even use it to dip bread.

Chicken Wing Sauce Recipe

For an easy and delicious wing sauce, take your favorite hot sauce farther by mixing it with our Golden Award.

Yields: 3 Cups

Ingredients Amount
Golden award 1 cup
Red’s/Tabasco/Tapatio/Cholula hot sauce 2 cups
Method of preparation:
  1. Add Golden Award to a Vitamix or blender. You can also use a whisk and bowl.
  2. In a slow steady stream, add in the hot sauce until incorporated. Increase the speed to medium high and process for about 4 minutes until emulsified.
  3. Toss wings in sauce while hot, then serve.
