Bunge and Oleo-Fats, Inc. (OFI), a subsidiary of D&L Industries and the leading manufacturer of specialty food oils and ingredients in Philippines, have entered into distribution agreements for the foodservice, retail and food processor industries in the Asia-Pacific region.
OFI will become Bunge's exclusive commercial partner to import, market, sell and distribute packaged softseed oils supplied by Bunge in Philippines, and Bunge will become OFI's exclusive commercial partner to import, market, sell and distribute coconut oil supplied by OFI in the Asia-Pacific region under Bunge's new Farm Origin brand.
Launched in August and managed by the newly created Bunge Asia Sales &Marketing import desk, Farm Origin features a line of premium oils for Asia-Pacific foodservice customers and consumers.
