Bunge Issues 4th Progress Report on Zero Deforestation

Bunge issued its 4th progress report on the implementation of our zero deforestation commitment. It outlines our strategy based on building Traceable Supply Chains, Tools for the Sustainable Expansion of Agriculture, and Incentives for Engagement. We currently have more than 90% traceability to direct sourcing farms in high priority areas and are monitoring more than 6,700 farms and 200 third party elevators. Agroideal.org, an open-sourced tool that promotes sustainable growth of agriculture is being used by multiple actors in the soybean value chain and will be expanded into new regions this year.
Bunge is committed to building value chains that are free of deforestation and human rights issues, traceable and trustworthy. This update provides an overview of our work on grains &oilseeds. You can learn more about our work in palm oil on our dashboard.
