II. INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU AND HOW WE COLLECT IT

We collect several types of information from and about users of our Website, which will include information defined as personal data and secret personal data (collectively “Personal Data”) under various data protection laws.

II. 1. Information You Give to Us

The information we collect on or through our Website include:

II. 2. Information We Collect About You

Information We Collect Automatically. We and our third party business partners, including analytics and advertising partners, may automatically collect information when you use our Website through cookies, pixel tags, clear GIFs, or similar technologies, such as your browser type and operating system, web pages you view, your interactions with content or webpages on the Website, links you click, your IP address or other identifiers, the length of time you visit our Site, the referring URL or webpage that led you to our Website, the information, content, or advertisements you view, hover over, or click on, and the search terms you enter. Our third-party business partners may use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites and services. See also, the Section below on Tools Used on this Website.

Bunge and its third-party business partners, including analytics and advertising partners, collect information about you by using cookies, tracking pixels and other technologies (collectively, “Tools”) when you visit or interact with the Website, including where you direct us to do so through the cookie banner on the Website you are viewing. We use this information to better understand, customize and improve user experience with our websites, services, and offerings as well as to manage our advertising and analytics purposes. For example, we use web analytics services that leverage these Tools to help us to understand how visitors engage with and navigate our Site, e.g., how and when pages in a site are visited and by how many visitors. We are also able to offer our visitors a more customized, relevant experience on our sites using these Tools by delivering content and functionality based on your preferences and interests. If we or our third-party business partners have collected your personal data, e.g., through a registration or a request for certain materials, we may associate this personal data with information gathered through the Tools. This allows us to offer increased personalization and functionality on the Website.

You can change your settings for these Tools, including opting out of their use for advertising, by visiting the preference center in the cookie banner of the website you are viewing.
Your IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to the computer that you are using by your Internet Service Provider. An IP address may be identified and logged automatically in our server log files whenever a user accesses the Website, along with the time of the visit and the pages visited. Collecting IP addresses is standard practice and is done automatically by many websites, applications, and other services. We use IP addresses for purposes such as calculating usage levels, diagnosing server problems, and administering the Website. We may also derive your approximate location from your IP address.

We may use Google and Adobe Analytics, which use cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyze information about use of the Site and report on activities and trends. These services may also collect information regarding the use of other websites, apps and online resources. You can learn about Google’s practices by going to www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/ and opt-out of them by downloading the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can learn more about Adobe’s practices by going to https://www.adobe.com/privacy.html.

The information we collect automatically is statistical data that helps us improve our Website and deliver a better and more personalized service, including by enabling us to:

  • Determine website traffic patterns.
  • Count web visits.
  • Determine traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site.
  • Help us to know which pages and content are the most and least popular.
  • Observe site search patterns to provide more intuitive navigation cues.
  • Determine user frequency and time between user visits.

II. 3. Tools Used on This Website

Our Website uses single-session (temporary) and multi-session (persistent) cookies. Temporary cookies last only as long as your web browser is open and are used for technical purposes such as enabling better navigation on our Website. Once you close your browser, the cookie disappears. Persistent cookies are stored on your computer for longer periods and are used for purposes including tracking the number of unique visitors to our site and information such as the number of views a page gets, how much time a user spends on a page, and other pertinent web statistics.

Cookies, by themselves, will not be used by the Company to disclose your individual identity. If you want to disable the use of cookies or remove them at any time from your computer, you can disable or delete them using your browser (consult your browser's "Help" menu to learn how to delete cookies); however, you must enable cookies to access certain information on our Website.

The annual reports and proxy statements Bunge issues are cookie-free, per SEC regulations.

Below you will find a detailed list of the first-party cookies we use on our Website:

More specifically, we use cookies and other tracking technologies for the following purposes:

They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the site will not then work. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.
