Bunge and Repsol's Alliance Fuels a More Sustainable Future

This month marks a significant milestone as we celebrate the first anniversary of our strategic alliance with Repsol in Spain. 

Over the past year, this partnership, the first of its kind in Europe, brought together Bunge’s agricultural expertise in originating sustainable feedstocks with Repsol’s industrial know-how as a global energy company to meet the growing demand for lower-carbon intensity renewable fuels. Our teams have quickly connected and adapted, demonstrating commitment and eagerness to leverage the best of both companies, fostering an environment of innovation from the outset.

Together, we continue to work on the operational foundation for advanced biofuel production, and to expand both the volume and portfolio of second-generation feedstocks for the production of renewable fuels. This end-to-end value chain approach — where Bunge originates and processes the feedstocks that Repsol later uses to produce renewable fuels —lets us offer accessible, scalable, low-carbon industrial solutions and to also contribute to a circular economy, transforming waste into energy.
