Doing what is right for the planet is core to how Bunge operates. As we advance our sustainability agenda globally, we are doing so thoughtfully, based on a foundation of ethical leadership, safety, accountability and environmental stewardship. Our 2026 Sustainability Report highlights major progress toward our decarbonization and responsible supply chain targets and our social impact investments.
Last year, Bunge expanded our global platform to offer even greater value to our farmers and food, feed and fuel customers. We maintained our cornerstone sustainability commitments to achieve deforestation-free supply chains and to reduce carbon emissions.
The report outlines important milestones in our sustainability journey in 2025:
- Achieved a major milestone of 100% monitoring and traceability to farm for both direct and indirect soy sourcing in priority areas of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, fulfilling our 10-year, industry-leading commitment to achieve deforestation and conversion-free supply chains.
- Increased global palm oil traceability to 97% to mill and 96% to plantation, strengthening visibility across our supply chains and supporting continuous improvement with suppliers.
- Reduced absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 19.4% and reduced Scope 3 emissions by 12.1% compared to our 2020 baseline, putting Bunge on track to meet our 2030 SBTi-validated climate transition targets.
- Expanded regenerative agriculture programs to Argentina and Romania and continued to scale programs in Brazil, Canada, Hungary, Poland and the United States.
- Contributed $7 million and hundreds of volunteer hours to support food security and education in communities around the world
This work, and the report, would not be possible without the dedication of our colleagues around the world and the partnerships we’ve built across the value chain.
